As an Indian, when we make plans to have afternoon tea together, our first thoughts for the menu are fritters, samosa, kathi rolls, etc. with piping hot masala chai (tea). Qatar taught me otherwise and entered in my life High/Afternoon tea which is very English and includes fancy sandwiches, desserts and scones with clotted cream and jam.
