Chili’s – Doha

There’s a reason you pick Chili’s as your choice of fast casual out of the many American competition in the region!

They are more of a quiet setup, not very noisy, moderately formal interiors and staff and their food pictures are actually what is served to you. Yes, it is a bit high in price comparatively. But what you get as an experience on the whole is flavoursome, sinful yet satisfying food.

As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. Assuming we could use our Entertainer vouchers, we presented that in the beginning itself but were disappointed that it could be used only in 3 branches of the country and City Centre Mall branch wasn’t on the list. Outback Steakhouse – Doha

‘No rules, just right!’ That’s what Outback – an Australian themed steakhouse restaurant proudly frames their tag line.

What they get right:
– Their modern ambience with a spacious area complimenting the larger than life attitude of the region.
– The perfect location being – The Lagoona Mall.
– Friendly Staff that are very good with keeping the kids busy while you enjoy your meal.

Our stomachs were growling on this evening for food and what better to opt for than juicy tender filling steaks. Having heard mixed reviews about Outback, we still gave it a shot to see for ourselves their offerings.

The Anvil Rooms Media Tasting Event – Doha

Doesn’t relate to a SteakHouse – the name, right? But it’s true. The name relates beautifully the skilled artwork of the blacksmith while carving to the intricacy that Chef Stuart Collins brings to the table.
To call it a restaurant is a let down. You’re definitely in a state of trance as soon as you enter the dark knight ambience with jazz playing in the background and the warm welcome of the staff easily complimenting the warm hues and burgundy browns of the décor.

What really takes your breath away is the mesmerising view from the 28th floor of Tornado Tower with floor to ceiling heightened glasses.
