With 2015 seeing a great range of different cuisines for me, I have just come to realize that it’s been a long time since I reviewed my first love – Lebanese cuisine which means I was super excited when I received and invitation to review the new menu at Al Mayass restaurant at the Pearl Qatar. Let’s find out how successful was the marriage between Lebanese and Armenian cuisine.
Last full week saw what nawabs would be eating if they survived and would be served in this modern age. If you do follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the drool worthy Indian delicacies meeting the gastronomical culinary world and exceptional presentation. Actually, I’ve seen some of the best plating and interesting science techniques by Chef Navin and Chef Manikandan who head the team at Lifestyle restaurants (10 restaurants). Burger Gourmet that I reviewed here sometime back is also under the same umbrella and we will talk about the other restaurants in another post.
After reading a lot of amazing reviews on Zomato and having already visited their Kuwait branch (loved it), I had a lot of expectations with this restaurant. Let’s find out how it fared with us this weekend!
As recommended by Zomato, we had booked ourselves prior to our arrival which was a good thing as it was quite full by the time we reached. The decor is beautiful and very flowery but quite inviting. The entrance to the restaurant is from the outside and no doors from inside the mall (we loitered a bit inside the mall and no store directory).
